Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 19, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Adduce is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as a design requirement, not an afterthought — it is written into our design system alongside color, type, and spacing.
2. Conformance Target
We design and build this Site to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This is an ongoing effort, and the Site has not undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit.
3. Measures We've Taken
- Body text is checked against a 4.5:1 contrast ratio (3:1 for large text) against its background.
- No status, category, or severity indicator relies on color alone — each pairs a text label with its color.
- All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) have a visible focus indicator for keyboard navigation.
- The Site is built with semantic HTML and ARIA attributes where appropriate, including labeled form fields and a properly announced contact dialog.
- Motion is limited to short, decorative transitions and respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible — for example, illustrative diagrams are decorative and may not have exhaustive text alternatives. We are actively working to identify and fix issues like these.
5. Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this Site, please let us know through the "Talk with us" form on our home page, including the page and a description of the issue. We aim to respond promptly and address genuine barriers.
6. Technical Specifications
Accessibility of this Site relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with the following technologies to work with the particular operating system and browser combination used:
- HTML
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
7. Assessment Approach
Adduce assesses the accessibility of this Site through self-evaluation against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria during design and development.
